Mickel A. Paris, a native of Los Angeles, discovered his affinity for writing in high school, where he was a Features Editor for his school newspaper. After college, he began working in the two largest Hollywood entertainment magazines, Daily Variety and The Hollywood Reporter. Mickel has also published a novel (The West Hollywood Story) and a collection of poetry (Seasons of Unrequited Love). He recently won a third place Bronze Prize for an essay on Viewshound.com.
